Each time I try to change rooms, the window that appears with the available topics/rooms etc is displaying the same details, chatters, web cams etc for the last 6 months !!! | Is there a way to prevent me from being banned in a webcam chat room? I keep getting banned from a webchat room that I frequent weekly. There are several moderators, but one in particular doesn't like me because I have more of a fanbase than him. He keeps banning for a period anywhere between 1hour - 24hour periods. He watches me talk to the people in the chatroom and them talk to me and he gets jealous because he feels left out I guess. I've tried being nice to him, reporting him to the head people on this site, stop doing what he claims I'm doing to get banned (flooding, putting him in his place when he attacks me, and not being in front of my cam at all times). I'm guilty of none of these, but he makes it seem like I am. I'm fed up with his behaviour and I was wondering if theres anything I can do to PREVENT him banning me? I've tried deleting cookies, using proxies, trying to change my router's and modem's IP address, with no success. My IP won't change when I want it to. I've tried opening other accounts, to try and gain access to the site, but it remembers who I am, somehow. This mod harrasses me and others and says whatever he want to say to us and when we say something back, he bans us. He also has the power to read what you are typing in private chat messages, and he will BUTT into your conversations and tell us not to say this or stop talking about people, etc. Isn't this an invasion of privacy? IS THERE ANYWAY TO GET AROUND HIM BANNING ME AND OTHERS AND WHEN HE DOES BAN US IS THERE ANYTHING WE CAN DO TO OVERRIDE HIS BAN AND STILL GET ACCESS TO THE WEBCHAT THAT ME AND MY FRIENDS LOVE TO GO TO???? | What was the big idea about changing yahoo?? I've been offline for several months and just got on last week. Seems that while I was offline yahoo decided to get really stupid and delete all my pics and made a code to type in before I can even get into a room! It supposedly was to keep bots and spam out of the rooms but that's a big joke on us who like the chat rooms! Every room I've been in over the last week has bots in it. So why the change??? why not go back to the way yahoo was before?I had to change messgrs just to get in a room because the old ones do not work with the new rooms. I would rather have the old yahoo back. Seems to me that there are just as many bots and just as many idiots who pm and or send cam invites as there were before. Yahoo needs to pay attention to what we want instead of doing only what yahoo wants. Most everybody I know do not like this new yahoo any more than I do. |
